.ma Domain Registration Conditions

The .ma domain is the official country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Morocco. All domain names must comply with the technical and administrative rules defined by the ANRT. Domain names must be composed of letters (a-z), numbers (0-9), and hyphens (-), and cannot start or end with a hyphen.

Registration of a .ma domain is open to individuals, companies, and organizations with a legitimate connection to Morocco. Registrants may be required to provide valid identification, such as a national ID card, passport, or company registration number (ICE), to verify eligibility.

Certain domain names are reserved by the ANRT for public interest, government use, or geographic designations. Additionally, names that infringe on public order, morality, or third-party intellectual property rights are strictly prohibited and may be rejected or suspended.

The domain holder is solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and currency of the registration information provided. It is the holder's obligation to update their contact details promptly and to ensure that the domain is not used for illegal or malicious activities.

Domains are registered for a minimum period of one (1) year. Renewal must be initiated before the expiration date to avoid service interruption. Domains that expire may enter a grace period, followed by a redemption period, after which they are released back to the public pool.

Transfers between registrars or changes to the domain holder (registrant) require explicit authorization from the current holder. Modifications to administrative or technical contacts can usually be performed instantly through your account dashboard.

We reserve the right, in accordance with ANRT directives, to suspend or cancel a domain name if it is found to be in violation of these conditions, if registration fees are unpaid, or if requested by a competent legal authority.

Personal data collected during registration is processed in accordance with Moroccan Law 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data. Data may be published in the public WHOIS directory unless a privacy protection service is explicitly activated and permitted by regulations.

Any disputes regarding the ownership or use of a .ma domain name will be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution policy established by the ANRT, or through the competent Moroccan courts. We act as an intermediary and do not arbitrate ownership disputes.
